Walk the South West Coast Path

The iconic South West Coast Path encircles the whole Peninsula offering beautiful, dramatic coastal walking.
This world renowned 630 mile route goes from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset, and although the Hartland Quay to Bude section is generally regarded as the toughest part of the whole walk, it richly rewards those prepared to make the effort with unparalleled scenery.
However, there are also much gentler, level sections of the path on the Peninsula and connecting footpaths and circular walks offer easy access on and off the route - making it possible for everyone to enjoy it.   Whether you want a short stroll, a hard workout or just a bench with a remarkable view there is a section of the coast path for everyone.
The excellent South West Coast Path website contains detailed information including maps, the level of difficulty, safety information and what you may see.
Or download one of our Hartland Peninsula walks or trails which take you effortlessly on and off the path.
