The campsite is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, providing plenty of room to relax it is nestled in a wooded valley with a stream and fishing ponds. The paddock can accommodate up to 5 caravans, each with its own hard standing, seating area, electric hookup and access to freshwater taps. Close by are hobbit cabins with shower, toilet and wash basin. There is also a disposal point for certified environmental and septic tank friendly (green) chemical waste and grey water waste.
In reception there is an on-site games room with pool, air hockey, darts, chess and variety of board games. Toilet facilities are also available.
Costs for this year are £24 per pitch per night with hardstanding, electric hookup and water, other optional extras are available including use of the hot tub.
Fosfelle Glamping
Also situated in the paddock these are our quirky glamping vehicles with all the comforts of home. There are outdoor seating areas available for your idle moments to enjoy the fresh air.
Bertram, our Agatha Christie themed double decker bus is a quirky self-catering unit situated on 2 floors which can sleep up to 5 guests with its 50’s theme and home comforts.
Joseph the Multicolour Dream Coach perfect for a romantic getaway sleeping 2. It has all the comforts of home including kitchenette, a log burning fire. TV and a comfy sofa.
The glamping units have access to the shared games room and a hot tub which can be booked for exclusive use via the reception area.
Pet Friendly
At Fosfelle all our accommodation is pet friendly except for Bertram’s Hotel (sleeping 5) as a safety precaution because the double decker bus stairs are a little narrow and steep.
There are some great dog walks on the Hartland Peninsula including the southwest coastal path. All the Hartland pubs and the café will accept dogs. but there are some in-house restricted areas.
Our inquisitive Alpacas, the Miniature Donkeys and an Exmoor pony roam freely on the site which is dog friendly but for safety reasons we ask that whilst on site dogs are always kept on a lead and any dog waste disposed of in an appropriate manner.
There are three self-contained apartments in a converted barn each finished to a high standard, with kitchenette, shower bathroom and a comfy seating area. Each apartment has a small enclosed outside seating area and are dog friendly. Click here for Fosfelle Cottage Apartments
