Both the Red Lion and the New Inn have full restaurant menus and also offer light lunches and bar snacks, Devon cream teas – and of course local beers, ciders and wines. Plus there are a selection of other food outlets, such as the Quay Shop, selling local pasties and ice-creams, the Tea Rooms selling cakes, the General Stores and also the Seafood shop, which offers delicious and ready-to-eat seasonal seafood.  

In addition, throughout the year are a number of food and drink festivals: The Funtastic Fudge Hunt, The Celebration of Local Ales and Ciders, The Lobster and Crab Feast, the celebrated Herring Festival plus lots of other events throughout the year where delicious food is offer.  Not to be missed at these events are the quay-side kitchens where local chefs and fish specialists cook up freshly caught lobsters, crabs and other seafood, wonderful paellas and much much more.
