Elmscott Farm Bed & Breakfast is a beautifully decorated and finished period farmhouse with lovely gardens, ideally situated on a North Devon coast road between Hartland Quay and Welcome Mouth. It’s the perfect starting and finishing point for walking holidays.
Elmscott Farmhouse, built in the 1800s of traditional Devon stone and lived in by the same family up to the present day, is a home of character and charm. With many of the original features still to be found such as high ceilings and beautifully appointed rooms, it’s a place of peace and tranquillity.
All bedrooms are decorated to a very high standard with en-suite or private bathroom. There are lots of little extra touches to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible: toiletries are provided along with bathrobes and hair dryers and there are clock radios and tea/coffee facilities in all rooms.
The Dining room is furnished in a period style with many interesting pieces of furniture and there are separate tables for guests’ privacy. The lovely, comfortable lounge has a television where guests or guests can simply relax or read the many books on offer. You are also encouraged to sit in the Oak room which looks on to the pretty courtyard and garden, where you can have afternoon tea and enjoy the surroundings, or have the use of the outside games room with table tennis and pool.
Excellent farmhouse breakfasts and a warm welcome awaits, with the option of packed lunches, kit transfers and a taxi service to the local pubs for your evening meal, all available on request.
