Hellebores at Docton Mill Gardens & Tea Room

Here is the first blog of the 2016 season from Lana Borrett at beautiful Docton Mill Gardens & Tea Room This is the start of our seventeenth season and the garden is a mass of spring flowers.  The daffodils like the damp winter conditions and are amazing this year, swathes of spring colour all around the garden. The red Devon’s along the drive are picture. We have magnificent magnolia stellatas, camellias, hellebores, early tulips and the faithful primulas, to name a few.

We are very excited this spring with our new Victorian-style green house and planting area, in the planning as I speak.

Also we have some delicious new cakes on our menu and a good selection of gluten-free options in addition to the favourite cream teas. Come along and enjoy our beautiful garden and award-winning tea rooms this Easter.
