A cluster of 6 cosy, well-equipped, self-catering farm cottages in countryside close to Hartland Abbey and a heart-thumpingly wild stretch of the South West Coast Path. Very child and dog-friendly, with sea views from the play area over fields and the tower of St Nectan’s church, chicken and ducks to feed, woodburners, hot tub & sauna.
An easy-going, secluded place for coast and country lovers to unwind. Come for simple things like silence, star-gazy skies and Scrabble by the fire.
Walkers love the wild, craggy beauty of the coast and the sheltered stroll through woodland to Hartland. Surfers take to the waves at the slightest opportunity. Everyone gathers at Hartland Quay, for sunsets, swimming, and a pint at The Wreckers Retreat. And there’s plenty to visit too – gardens, galleries – cream tea rooms of course – steeply cobbled Clovelly, and Lundy Island – a helicopter hop from the Point or a boat trip from Bideford or Ilfracombe.
