This is one of a series of four Heritage walks that uncover some of the fascinating history across the Hartland Peninsula.
The Northern Heritage Walk is a circular route of approximately four miles that includes road, public footpaths and tracks. The walk takes you through a late medieval deer park, an early religious site and past some of the parish’s more substantial houses, before returning to Hartland.
It is available as a printed walk or an audio tour, which can be used separately or together. There is also a step-by-step Google map available.
