“Chope’s booklet describing Hartland in the late 19^th and early 20^th century coupled with my love of railway posters from the 1920’s and 30’s inspired these pictures and designs.

To pay homage to this wonderful location, in a style used to promote a mode of transport by which it couldn’t be reached, appealed to my sense of humour. 

Colourful and stylish I hope they reflect in a nostalgic way the feeling, charm and beauty of this still very special place.”
