Sarah Jane Lander has worked as a potter in Hartland for nearly 30 years. Recently she has moved from The No 39 Pottery to her new premises at 37 Fore Street, the Calf Street pottery. Here you can come in and see Sarah at work in her pottery and see the full range of pottery she produces on display in her shop.
She mostly makes domestic stoneware which is usually decorated with coloured slip before being glazed. Her work is traditional in its style and functionality but decorated with more contemporary designs. Available to purchase: plates, cups, jugs, jars and much more.
