For the first time Hartland Abbey are holding a Daffodil Weekend, with Mothering Sunday falling on the Sunday (Sat 17th and Sun 18th March, 11am – 4pm). For the first time Hartland Abbey are holding a Daffodil Weekend, with Mothering Sunday falling on the Sunday (Sat 17th and Sun 18th March, 11am – 4pm). Visitors will be able to see not only the historic collection of daffodils, but also lots of camellias, hellebores, early spring bulbs, mimosas and the lovely wild primroses and violets (weather permitting!). Parts of the estate, normally closed to the public, will be open and there will be warming, hot pasties, light lunches, cream teas and even a barbeque. There’s plenty to do for all the family, including a Family Treasure Hunt. And as ever, dogs are more than welcome!
Entry Prices: Adults £4 Children (over 5) £1. The Abbey itself, and also the shop and museum, will also be open 12 – 4pm for a small extra charge.
