The dramatic floods in Somerset, which disrupted rail travel, plus the washing away of the rail track at Dawlish, presented images to the world that Devon was cut off from the rest of the country. Not so, but certainly there has been an increase in people asking "are you open?"
Here, the closest we get to ‘flooding’ tends to be tidal surges. Far from being a major problem, they have created some amazing waves/seas, with people avidly photographing the wonder of the elements. But now, the worst of the weather is hopefully over and spring is here……so come and enjoy.
