This is one of a series of four Heritage walks that uncover some of the fascinating history across the Hartland Peninsula.
The Parkland Heritage Walk is a circular walk of approximately two miles, taking you through the still surviving medieval deer parks of the ancient Dinham family, and the later parklands of Hartland Abbey. The walk is on variable terrain including footpaths, green lanes, meadowland and road, and can sometimes be muddy.
It is available as a printed walk or an audio tour, which can be used separately or together. There is also a step-by-step Google map available.
